Edelweiss+Analytics Updates

New Features

Redesign of the menu at the top of the Analytics page: We added icons to the text for consistency. This menu shows a branch selector (of you have more than one), the date that this location last sent data, a shortcut to Action Plans (for libraries only) and the selected filter.

Shelf Days: We have adopted the term Shelf Days instead of Activity Index (AI). The calculation is the same, but it may be easier to understand in terms of shelf day. For example, if a book has been on the shelf for ten days with no activity (sales, received, checked in, or checked out) the Shelf Days = 10. If there are 2 copies that have been on the shelf since activity, then the Shelf Days=20, which is the combined number of days they have been on the shelf with no activity.  The labels and descriptions of AI have all been updated in the application.

Excel Export from Category Performance Detail: You can now export a complete report of the category analysis figures to Excel. When you have the report open on the screen, select the option Export to File at the top of the grid of results.

Select Any Peer Group in the Green Analytics Bar: When in a catalog or any standard list of titles in Edelweiss+, you can select from more peer groups than previously, including regional groups of retailers, and see what their percentages are for the group of titles you’re viewing.

Visibility of Analytics bar: The Analytics bar can now be hidden (or revealed) using the Other Actions menu.

Help and Support: There is now a link for retailers to access a help site for Edelweiss+ Analytics alone. From the Help menu in the upper right, select Help with Edelweiss+ Analytics.
