Sales Reps – Hiding Titles (aka Setting Priority to ‘Skip’)

A retired feature on Edelweiss allowed sales reps to set certain titles as “Hidden,” which would hide them from the view of accounts with whom they shared their markup. Buyers sometimes missed titles they would have been interested in, and reps at times hid titles accidentally and were not able to see them in their own markups. In summary, this feature led to a fair amount of confusion and has since been improved upon.

You can now set the Priority of a title as “Skip” in your markups with a few simple steps.

Within a markup, open the Markup Priority dropdown and select “Skip” on any titles you are suggesting that the account ignore.

Once selected, the title will appear as shown below.

We do recommend letting your accounts know that they have the option of viewing ‘Skipped’ titles, or leaving them hidden from their view.

You and your accounts can also filter by Priority, as shown below.
