What is a Review Copy?
Publishers make certain titles available prior to their publication date to select readers as "review copies" (aka "ARCs"or "egalleys"). The main purpose of giving early access is to gather reviews, spark interest in the title, and generate pre-orders!
Many review copies on Edelweiss+ are available to immediately download. Others require that you submit a request which must be approved (or declined) by the publisher. These decisions are up to publishers and depend on their marketing goals for the review copy. However, to improve your chances, consider improving your reviewer profile.
