Requesting a Digital Review Copy

Once you’ve found a Review Copy that looks worth a read, you’ll have to request it from the publisher unless they’ve made it available for you to download immediately.

To request a Digital Review Copy, click Request here:

This will bring up a screen in which you can tell the publisher who you are and what you do…basically why you deserve a free book. It pays to not just assume they know who you are, no matter how incredibly famous you might be. It could quite easily be a brand new publicist tasked with answering DRC requests. Your Saved Profile will stick for all requests, so this is really just something you’ll need to write once. You can find details here about setting that up, and more information on improving your requests here. The Additional Message box allows you to, if you like, give additional information about a particular title, your plans for it, etc. This field is optional.

Click Submit! You will receive an email when the publisher has approved or denied your request. You can also track or cancel your requests within Edelweiss. If approved, you’ll then be able to go to this title and download it.

Happy reading!
